I can’t believe I will be another year older soon. And I can see some fine lines around my eyes that make me feel old already. I think I could use that best eye cream advertised on TV and on the Internet. LOL! I actually asked a friend who might have tried one that she could recommend so I don’t have to try everything. Well, I’ll see if it works on me. How about you? What do you think is the best eye cream you have tried that really works?

It’s really cold today. I didn’t feel like going out at all like usual. Winter is just around the corner. Boy, seasons do go so swiftly. Sooner or later, it’s going to be summer again. Well, it’s what everyone is so anxious about when this cold nasty weather is here. It just seems really long when you are restricted from going out to do the things you can only do during the warm days.
The avid golfers are for sure aren’t looking forward to this season. They probably won’t be seeing their golf buddies again until next early spring or summer. Oh well, that just sucks for someone who is a golf nut. I’d better get going and search for cigars online. I am thinking about gifting someone cigars. See you later alligator!

I have started applying for a job already and I am crossing my fingers on that as this will only be my first time if ever I get hired. I am still looking for some other possibilities and will be submitting my resume to other places. I hope I get the job for the winter as it will be a perfect time to start. Although, the cold might be a little bit of a pain, I simply like it this time because hubby will be free to watch our little one since our business is seasonal. We have other plans but that is yet to be done no matter what.
I could be working and then the other option would be intended for the weekends. Both ways, we will work it out. I just can’t wait to get my first job, simply because I have never had any experience on any area in the work force. It will be quite a challenge actually. I don’t want to turn 30 someday and still has nothing to write down in my resume under experience or accomplishments. Wish me luck!

I don’t think we’re going to have a vacation next year like we usually do annually. We have a project to do this winter and that is about making money as we needed it. Well, who doesn’t anyway? In this tough economic times, we can never be sure of what else is to come.
Traveling is one of the few things most families have to give up to save money. It can’t hurt to explore locally so it’s not too costly if you still want to do something for relaxation and entertainment. After all, you have to make sacrifices when you really wanted to do something for the whole family to enjoy and that would include expenses to everything you do together.
Well, speaking of which, I better check out this international travel insurance. It’s kind of interesting. I would love to learn more about it as someday I will be planning on my next trip to my hometown. See you later!

I’m pretty bad with dates sometimes especially when it comes to birthdays. I just noticed that although I would remember months ahead, as it gets closer, it doesn’t really mean anything to me anymore. LOL. Just recently, I realized someone in the family celebrated her birthday a week ago and I didn’t even look at gifts for her so I promised to send something later this week. I hope I won’t forget as Christmas is getting closer and I hate to have it close together and give presents. Hehehe. Anyway, I think I will look up her wish list to make it easier for me to order her gift.

I’m trying to catch up with my online tasks and I hope I will finish it even though I know I’m running really late. Gosh, how am I supposed to do all this work? I’ve been pretty laid back these days. I still can’t understand why I can’t get serious or focus on something I used to love doing. I guess I am finally running out of energy and inspiration to write. Anyway, I’m glad there are a few of opportunities waiting for me. I just wanted to keep up with them or else there would be no more reasons to actually open my computer besides checking FB to play those online games. Help!

Hubby is encouraging me to join Jazzercise. He thinks it good for me to get out and get a little break or time for myself. The people in that place actually been waiting for me since after Christmas last year. It was meant to be one of my Christmas presents and a New Year’s resolution to get fit and make friends in the process. I don’t need a quick weight loss technique. Believe me. I don’t even have to worry about gaining a pound or two. I just like the action, energy and to get the chance to socialize. I need people around me. I will definitely go one of these days!

I’m glad I was able to talk to my family back home especially to my sister as she had been busy this week. Her fiancé is visiting for the second time and now they are always doing something together with the rest of the family outdoors. They went to the pool yesterday and had some fun time with lots of food. I wish I were there. Oh well. Next time.
Anyway, on the side note, the economy is still struggling. When I first came in the country I was surprised people can actually get a Masters degree online. I finished my degree years back but considering the expense in getting a master’s degree back home wasn’t in my vocabulary because I was eager to get a job. To earn a living after college is no walk in the park as they say unless a job intended for you is waiting even before you get out of college. These days, especially due to the economic situation, it is definitely the best move to upgrade your degree to the next level in order to get more chances of landing in a better position. Although, it’s easier said than done, it would be a great thing to do in preparation for your next adventure in the workforce. I’ve been pretty occupied lately, thus, this page of mine is gathering dusts and cob web. Beside a really important and most awaited visit of a special friend of mine, I was doing other things outside the cyberworld. I was taking care of my dear family and a break from the computer was worth a while. Anyway, today is another busy day for us. Well, later. We will be traveling to NY for a surprise party. I hope our little one cooperates as he can get unruly at times. He is in his terrible twos and nobody likes a tantrum in a party, no? I will cross my fingers on that and hopefully, it will be a good time for everybody.

I am not as enthusiastic as I used to when it comes to my online life. Except for the fact that I check FB more often that anything else on the web. I used to love blogging so much. Now, I have out grown it and finds it rather old. It’s getting to be a bore. I play FarmVille in my spare time and it’s the best thing there is to waste your time on. LOL! I used to be an avid web directory follower in promoting my blogs, but I tend to visit blogs of different interests these days. I am more into online shopping and fashion blog reading and all. What a life indeed.
