The Daily Matters

I was surprised to get a box delivered for me today. I thought the delivery man was mistaken but he clearly read to me the name of the receiver to make sure he is giving it to the right person. It was indeed for me. I was thinking, it must be a birthday present from my husband. I didn’t expect one this soon because my big day is only a couple of days from now. Well, it’s close enough already. Anyway, I found out it’s from my hubby’s niece and her husband. She’s a good gift giver and remembers people’s birthdays. It’s very kind of her to give me another one for this year. I actually love what she got me this time. They are 3 different kinds of Italian pastas and several bottles of sauces. Just what I can really cook. Pasta is always easy to prepare. She figured I can’t make a fancy dinner nor follow a recipe. She’s making it easy for me. Thank you very much Rachel and Kevin! I appreciate the present. I sure will make this on my birthday. By the way, she’s a good cook and she has an interestng food blog. She writes well too.
