Unfortunately, our guests are not coming tonight. As I have said in my previous post here that my cousin and her hubby were planning to come over for the weekend. They have other plans since they were not able to agree with a friend who is residing an hour away from our place. It would have been a good chance for them see us too because it’s a long way to travel from PA to CT which is approximately 4 hours and a half. Anyway, it was too bad. I’m sure there’s next time and hopefully that would be next week. We were thinking of showing them our new town and the nearby sites worth seeing. There are two casinos not very far from here so those might be a good place to see. Well, hubby did clean the house yesterday.

I just got a call today from a cousin and her husband in Pennsylvania who wanted to visit us tomorrow night and stay for the weekend. I am really anxious because it’s the first time they will see us in our new place. It’s not confirmed though as they have to coordinate with a friend with whom they will stop by earlier tomorrow before they will be heading here. Meanwhile, I am waiting for hubby to come home because he will be cleaning our place. It’s totally messy because I never cleaned since me moved. I just don’t know where to get the time since I have a baby to attend to who is so demanding. I know I have lots of it when it comes to blogging but the thought of doing something rigorous such as cleaning the bathroom when the baby fusses is just not my type to cram or panic just to shut him up. Well, I got to cut this short because I have to do a market research about a business that hubby and I are planning to start this winter. I hope it will work for us. As I have mentioned days ago, our second anniversary celebration was spent just barely an hour away in a neighboring state. It was my first time to stay in a Bed and Breakfast . It was supposed to be a romantic date but since our son Casey was with us, it was more like a 2 day vacation spent in the bedroom that is! Casey and I stayed in the bedroom while waiting for his dad who went out that day to play in a golf tournament. He got lucky though. It was funny because he left so early after the game and didn’t wait for the result so he ended up thinking he didn’t make any money. He thought that tournament was just for fun since he’s not playing a lot this year. We went home after two nights in that place content and happy.
As soon as hubby read the paper he found out that the champion on that category he played in had a higher score than he had that which means he was supposed to be the winner. In golf, scoring is quite the opposite in most sports. While others higher are the better, in golf lower digits are ideal. So, hubby called and learnt that the organizers thought he was too good for that category and somewhat voided his participation which was unfair. LOL! He had told them he is more than qualified and they decided he should get a prize. Anyway, it was a fun date for us on our anniversary especially with our first baby.

I got a letter from a friend the other day and I was delighted because it’s been a while since the last time we talked. She’s in the Philippines right now and she just had a baby in May.
