The Daily Matters

I got a letter from a friend the other day and I was delighted because it’s been a while since the last time we talked. She’s in the Philippines right now and she just had a baby in May. I was really happy for her because she and her long time boyfriend who used to be our schoolmate in high school got married finally. She had told me her delivery was normal and yet it took her 2 days in labor which she said was really painful. I have no idea how painful can a labor get since C-section for me is really painful. Well, I’m glad to know she’s getting busy with taking care of her son. I definitely understand why it took her a while to write me again. I am getting really anxious to visit my hometown this year because some of my friends are also married and have kids of their own. It’s going to be exciting to see each other again as moms. How I wish it’s not a long way to travel just to see them and of course my family.
