The Daily Matters

This week’s theme is original. It gave me a hard time looking for a more appropriate photo that’s why I ended up with this one. I know I posted this before for something else or for a different theme. This big trowel is unique since it’s the first one that I have seen this big, thus, original. Although it’s derived from something that has already been created, the thought of making it way bigger than normal is just one of a kind.

Fall is finally here. Goodbye summer! I can’t wait for us to go on vacation and finally be free from the stress and hassle of work for the a little while anyway. As I have said, I have a plan to go to my hometown and stay there for a few months while winter is taking over. An island getaway to a tropical place is ideal. I would definitely consider vacation rentals for that matter. Anyhow, if time won’t permit me to my first plan I would ask my hubby for us to go to Florida. That’s a prefect place for him anyway to spend the rest of the cold days. Golf is always never forgotten and will always be on the top of the list for an ultimate vacation.

One of hubby’s students had to cancel his golf lesson because he just came back from the doctor after having his colon cleanse. He said he wasn’t that well to get real active. To hubby’s surprise he called again saying that he can make the appointment and will be making it to the lesson. Talking about golf nuts! Its unbelievable how these people manage to get up from the doctor’s and then goes hit some golf balls. Unbelievable!

I got my new purse yesterday and I couldn’t be happier. It’s my first Coach and hubby got it for me. Am I a lucky woman or what? This handbag is his gift for me on our 25 month wedding anniversary which is just perfect for my size. I look forward to getting a wallet to go with it too. I know it’s pricey when designer bag fever attacks. I just hope I am not all that affected.LOL! This sure is a sign of just the beginning.

I never realized how painful can a carpal tunnel syndrome be until I was in my later stage in pregnancy. I tell you, it wasn’t easy. Moms out there can definitely attest to this experience. Every night I couldn’t sleep well because of my wrist and shoulder pain. It was bothersome! I was really discouraged and to think that the pregnancy itself wasn’t comfortable as well. I didn’t believe in taking a pain reliever especially with that condition (pregnant) although the doctor would likely suggest a mild acetaminophen, I didn’t buy it. I would rather suffer from the pain than taking in something that I am afraid would bring a bad effect on the baby in my belly.

Anyhow, I just couldn’t stand the pain anymore and opted to go to the emergency room. The doctor has told me it’s a carpal tunnel and all I can do which is safer would be a wrist band that will support my arm/wrist from moving, thus, avoiding the pain. Well, it wasn’t all that convenient especially when the baby came. The pain is still attacking me even after my baby is already a few months old. I got a Freeze It sample which is a topical pain relief on the mail one day and didn’t hesitate to try it. Boy was I glad to feel how relieving it is! If only I had this on hand when I was still pregnant I would have used it a lot. This is way safer than any pain relieving medication for pregnant women, I would guess. It’s just what I needed.
