My son and I are finally here in my hometown. We left JFK airport last November 20 and I couldn’t believe we made it all the way here. We just got back from church today. My, it’s been quite awhile since we moved to this new town and yet it was my first time to see the church. I just didn’t have the gut to take an infant in there in the past months because of the fear that I have to run out whenever he fusses. It wasn’t bad at all today because he was behaved as can be. We heard the 11 a.m. mass and got in time for the homily. I felt great for being able to get there finally after months of being home a lot. Hubby thought it was necessary for us to be back to church once more.

If there is anyone I know who is a big coffee drinker that would be my dear husband. He can’t start the day without it. It’s a fuel for him. He wouldn’t be able to read the newspaper without sipping a cup of coffee or two. Sometimes, when he thinks he has to slow down with his coffee addiction he would intend not buying a can of gourmet coffee so I won’t be able to make it for him, but he only ends up buying one from DD or from somewhere else. He thought that would control him since he would more likely spend more, but it doesn’t work at all. I think I will get him a jura capresso for Christmas. I don’t think there’s any way that he will give up coffee at all!

This isn’t the first time that Casey is actually gone to bed early tonight. Hubby is already in bed as well. We are thinking of going to Church tomorrow and pray for the safety of our trip on Tuesday. Honestly, I have never gone to hear Sunday mass since I had my son because I always get the feeling that it might not be very convenient for me as I still breastfeed him. I am looking forward to weaning him off of it as soon as he turns 1 which will be in my hometown and that I get some help from my mom. It can’t be easy. I am all the more concern about it knowing that he had a little reaction when it comes to introducing him some dairy products. I might just have to use soy milk for his formula if that is the case.

I still haven’t finished my Christmas wish list. The family wants to know already so everyone can prepare and start getting the right presents. It seems as if it makes it easier for the person to buy the gift that will be appreciated since it’s what the receiver really asks for. Our son is getting to be a Daddy’s little boy. He can now relate to his father and is more playful with him most of the time. He cries when dad has to go out of the house to go to work. As soon as daddy gets back, he wants to be picked up. He gets really excited and would love to show off what he’s got. Time flies and he is growing so fast I am already missing that little baby on my arms sleeping all the time.
