One of the few sports that I love to watch is Wimbledon. In fairness, I have a few favorite players in the game that somehow push me to watch it besides the liking of the sport itself. Who wouldn’t be interested in watching when you are at the same time learning let alone admiring the hunks and babes of the tournament? To name a couple of my all time favorites among men are Roger Federer and the legendary Andre Agassi. I must admit, although I am jealous of miss pretty Maria Sharapova’s appeal and height she tops my favorite among the ladies singles besides Serena Williams’ potential and mastery of this game as well.
These are the same reasons why getting the Wimbledon tickets to be a must for a big fan, to be certain. How I wish I have all the opportunities in the world to get the chance of getting a seat or two just to witness those great players in the upcoming event. Is there somebody out there willing enough to treat me? Please let me know and I will definitely say ‘yes’ to it. I can only imagine what it’s like to be in the action. I bet it’s worth it.

The hubby’s birthday is coming up soon. I have yet to get him a present and he said he could use another pair of trousers or khaki. It makes buying a present a lot easier when you ask the celebrant what he really needs. Due to some mobility constraint, the Internet does come really handy to shop for someone like me. I couldn’t wait to get my license to drive so I can go out and shop when it’s really necessary, but for now I have to settle with what is accessible for me so that I don’t feel like a total helpless gift hunter for that matter and besides, it’s more convenient anyway especially having a toddler in tow. Ciao, got to see some pants online.

Now I know what it’s like to have an allergy attack during spring. This is only my third spring in America and it’s the first time I got an allergic reaction to pollen. I sneeze a lot during the day and some time in the afternoon. I have read that in order to avoid or perhaps lessen the symptoms, one should limit outdoor activities. I remembered I had to take my son out for a walk and strolled where trees are blooming around the neighborhood and it all started from there.
The day after or so I felt itchy around my eyes and nose. I never had this before and I can tell it’s definitely not pleasant at all. After a couple of days of complaining, I finally admitted I have a spring allergy due to whatever is in the atmosphere this time a year. I am taking an antihistamine a couple of times so far since the sneezing is only occasional. I just noticed too that going out even for a short time to breath in some fresh air triggers it and I could sneeze like I’ve never done before. Oh well, such a life indeed to someone who is not used to four seasons.

Whenever I see Sylvester Stallone on television or even on a poster, it reminds me of my father. No, my dad doesn’t look like him at all. He just likes this actor so much. He’s one of his favorite action stars among others. I pretty well remember way back how much the family or some friends loved watching Rambo. I must have seen most of them especially Rambo First Blood which started it all. If you are a big fan of Sylvester Stallone, you will still get the chance of seeing this movie through FathomEvents.com.
It’s back on the big screen on May 17, 2008 at 7:30 pm. This is definitely a must see. If you want to see the preview of the movie, simply log on to fathomevents.com and for more info see firstblood.fathomevents.com as well. There’s a poll where you can answer a pop quiz on the site which you might find interesting too. I’m sure you don’t want to miss it!

Until now, my mind isn’t fixed yet on what DSLR camera I am going to get. I know I have been eyeing on that Canon EOS 450D XSi even before it’s available in most stores. Now, I have read more and more and learned from forums and people who have gotten it but I can’t decide yet. I am also tempted at getting the Nikon D80 or the Nikon D60, but I would love to get the features of the new Canon. This is one of those moments that I hate especially having so many choices. I never thought it would take me this long to get something I want. I don’t like situations like these. LOL!
Now, the store where I would want to get the camera doesn’t have it in stock anymore and will be again available for orders some time this month. I think I could still wait, but I also get anxious for some reason to get it real soon. I know it’s available in Amazon.com but I have been drooling on Canon EOS 450D XSi at B&H that I frequent a lot almost everyday before it was even released and waited for a couple of months. Well, well, well, it’s a tough decision for me. Help! I have got to make up my mind soon before another model will come out. I just don’t like the idea that after 350D and 400D, now 450D is on the loose. I bet the 500D is in the making already and will be out in no time. Oh, such a life full of choices!
Update: I got the Canon Rebel XSi 450D and see it in action here.

Casey woke up crying last night for some reason. He must have had a nightmare, who knows. He’s only a little over 16 months old and all he did was cry helplessly like someone was hurting him or scared him. And of course, the hubby and I get interrupted of our sleep just trying to calm him down and get him settled again. It was like those few nights after I started imposing on weaning him.
We just got lucky a few times when he slept through the night and we thought for sure that was all for good. I guess he also gets bothered by the changing of the temperature at night when it’s a bit cooler for him when he sleeps alone and when we all get in bed it suddenly gets too warm or too humid for him. I know he hates when he sleeps in a warm bed. He sleeps really well when the room is cooler. I hope tonight he will sleep better so we all can get enough rest.
I have read an article about this that’s why we’re sure he doesn’t have any health problem or something else. It might be the change of his routine or bedtime schedule too. I guess that’s what I’ll be blaming why he or some toddler wakes at night crying.

Women can’t have enough shoes. I know because I am, too. I don’t know what the main reason is, but I think it is simply satisfying to have them match with your outfit for a given occasion or on an ordinary day at the mall or at the park. Some go out to walk their dogs and have shoes intended for that alone. I’m sure Infinity Shoes is a pure haven for shoe lovers great or small.
They have amazingly huge variety of shoes to choose from and they provide options for gift ideas, too. Whether you are looking for shoes for a party or for a day at the park, you name it. They have rain boots, too which are ideal for some nasty days of springtime. LOL!
As I was browsing the pages minnetonka boots caught my interest as I have always wanted to have a nice pair of winter boots and I think I just found it. Perhaps I can ask for it on my birthday next month as an advance preparation for winter. I know it sounds silly, but I really wanted a pair of those sheepskin pug boots from them.
Well, if that sounds crazy I’ll settle with the Foxy mama from seychelles shoes
if I have to make a decision. If not I would be satisfied with the Kiva leather sandal in black from tsubo shoes because they look really nice and just what I needed for a double birthday party in the family coming before the end of this month. I like its simplicity. Well, endless choices drive me crazy and I can only wish I can get them all at once. Go find your shoes now at Infinity Shoes!

Mother’s Day was good. Although it wasn’t all together a day for me to simply unwind and lounge all day since I made it extra special — by baking and cooking for dinner. Yes, I actually was in the kitchen all day. I baked my first chocolate cake and I was extremely satisfied of the outcome even if it wasn’t the most complicated recipe I found online and experimented on. I was thankful I had the basic ingredients to come up with a simple yet moist enough cake. I baked banana bread, too. I prepared broiled salmon with roasted potato in rosemary and asparagus. When hubby came home the food was just on time and we ate. We had a sparkling white wine to drink. Not a bad day for a second year to a first time mother.
