One of the simple things I can be proud of myself is not having acne. I mean, I had it and I get it from time to time but it’s nothing serious like some of the teens or adults do suffer. My sister has an acne problem and she really wants to get the best solution there is to help get rid of this facial problem. I have been promising her to help her get that solution for the longest time. It’s a shame that until now I haven’t bought here anything yet. LOL!

I am lucky I don’t have to work hard to lose weight. I just hope there won’t come a time that I will have to wish owning one of those fancy treadmills just to get in shape. My family on my mom’s side has weight issues which I hope I won’t acquire along the way. While on my father’s it isn’t really a problem at all. I’m just crossing my fingers on keeping my figure for as long as I can even though I don’t really watch my diet.

Casey’s hair was getting thicker. I so wanted to give him a haircut so his head doesn’t look too big and out of proportion to his skinny ‘marink’ body. So, the other day while he was napping I grabbed a pair of scissors and started trimming his hair carefully. Good thing he was sleeping soundly while I did my job. Well, not for very long anyway. He was interrupted by the sound of the scissors snipping on his locks.

I did get enough to make the hair a bit presentable. Even after he was up and ready for his afternoon snacks, I still had to steal some snips one after the other until I was all content of the outcome. Now I can join the Shear Genius reality show. I will be showing the pictures later to compare the before and after haircut.

Very recently, my son and I travelled to my hometown. It’s definitely a long way to go to see my family after a little over 2 years being away from them. Travelling by plane for over 24 hours isn’t the most exciting or pleasurable thing for most people especially when you only have the economy class seat. I personally dislike it. Other than that, you can’t avoid the temperature changes while on board. It can get too cold or too hot up there. Last night, we watched our favorite program Law and Order and Cold Case. They were pretty interesting. We’re a big fan of Law and Order especially when there aren’t any movies we like on the cable. The hubby prefers to watch golf or baseball most of the time though which I am not against. I can also cheer for our favorite team which the Boston Red Sox.

Once again Casey stayed up with us like he is a big person. LOL! He woke up early this morning at around 8:30. The hubby wanted a nice breakfast as requested last night so I prepared pancake, bacon and egg. He did the pile of dishes from yesterday first thing this morning so that breakfast was well worth it. Hehehe. Now, let me start my online routine!

Today, we’re watching a re-run of the Project Runway on Bravo. Believe it or not, the hubby and I love to watch it together. LOL! It’s just one of the chosen reality shows we actually like. I don’t remember which season this is but I think it’s one of the first two. Anyway, I love fashion and it interests me to see these aspiring designers make things work so they could win the challenges in the contest. The season 5 is up already but for some reason I am not as upbeat in following the latest anymore. I have other things that occupy me. Do you watch it at all? Tell me about it.

For the past two nights, Casey’s bedtime is getting even later than usual. It’s my entire fault. I only get the urge to watch movies at night when it’s supposed to be a time to relax. And that makes him stay up with us too unless he is all pooped and can’t help but fall asleep on my shoulder. He is becoming a night owl like us. LOL!

He wakes up at 10 in the morning. We should change our habit as soon as we can though. I know it’s not a very good practice especially for a little guy like him. I was trying to get him to sleep as early as possible but things can’t work that way all the time. I will have to work on it!
