This butterfly is a friendly creature. She stayed in my hubby’s pro shop in the golf range one day. I was actually out at the bushes trying my new macro lens. Hubby asked his helper to bring me the butterfly so I could take a picture of it. She was just steady the whole time on his finger and didn’t fly at all. The hand looks like a great support for this little creature so I could take a good picture. This is my first butterfly close up shot, by the way. Mind you, the camera was hand held and the few shots were actually a bit blurry. That’s just as good as I could get since I’m still learning with the lens.

It may be a little blurry around the wing tip, but is still a great shot.

That’s awesome! I’m just learning how to do macros, too. You did a fine job. Come and see my take on the theme.

Cool capture - Butterflies can sometimes be so elusive and then sometimes it seems they want to pose for the camera - That helper must have steady hands

Love this photo by the way you did a awesome job but yeah it’s a big blurry on the the side. Pero ganda pa rin ng shot mo. By the way about the using your macro lens. I dont know what kind of lens you are using but I hope this tips will help you a bit. If I’m using my Micro lens I usually lower down my your aperture I usually used f11 and up. The bigger the f/number the more of the bug or flower will be in focus. Use you flash it will also help you minimize the the camera shake unless you are shooting in a really bright area. When I’m using my camera I usually used the aperture priority mode. You can use any move you prefer of course. Well I hope it help. If you have some more question just drop me a message “i might not answer it this week though because I will be on vacation for ten days..;)”. Well enjoy your new lens and good luck! I love your photo blog by the way..;)
