I have posted previously that our condo is up for rent after some updates in it. It looks nice and ready for move-in, but unfortunately it’s still waiting for tenants. There was someone who was interested but demanded on other additional comfort in it which means adding more money into the work. So, we are still waiting just to meet the price we are asking for rental or else we have to lower it down. Oh well. The housing market is really low and even rents are affected. I wonder if there are more home buyers now than renters. It would be a great time for people to get their mortgage quotes especially it’s ideal to buy a house while the prices are low.

Our son Casey’s skin problem is back again. When he was smaller he already had a sensitive skin that turned out to be eczema. It’s rather itchy and bothers him a lot. He used to scratch really hard it could bleed. He used to have it on his face, too. The doctor said eczema cannot be treated permanently as it comes and goes as the season changes. Having a toddler who loves to watch cartoons on television every single day is like a walk down memory lane as I do feel like I am a kid again. Actually, the title has nothing to do with this post at all. I am glad the weather has cooled down for a change. It’s officially autumn season which means winter is also fast approaching which can be daunting for many. I know it’s not the most pleasant of seasons. But that’s how it is in this place anyway. I remember last year when the leaves started turning I was so surprised because I stayed home everyday and just in few days when we drove out I just noticed the leaves falling down and the last time I look through the window they were still green. LOL! Days go by so fast, isn’t it?

I should have gone out a lot while it was fine and sunny, but I was very limited to what I could do to have fun as I still don’t have the driver’s license. Pretty soon I will though. And it’s going to change everything. I mean, I can drive independently and do some shopping and things like that you know. I will be really happy. But, I guess it will be a bad timing as it will get even colder. Nobody wants to go out in the cold a lot. Oh well. I can wait until next spring and summer and oh, we will be in Florida early next year. How cool that would be! I can’t wait.

After having a baby, I don’t look the same anymore. Physically, I thought I got back to my pre-pregnancy figure. Little by little I can feel that my belly has acquired an unwanted weight. My waistline that used to be there looks like as if it’s been altered by the pregnancy and I don’t like it. In short, I lost the real me physically.

It’s about time that I should get back to a healthier and happier life by doing the workout that really changes lives. I used to do Pilates before I learned I was expecting and didn’t really see what good it did to me other than improving my posture. I don’t think it’s something I would be doing again.

After watching the recent Olympics, I am kind of jealous how those athletes look like. Gosh, they are so fit. I want that abs! Well, I better get XFLOWSION before this figure of mine is all ruined. Whenever I am mad at something or someone, my frustration comes out as tears. I guess it’s common. It’s a better way to express yourself rather than doing things that might just led to another like getting physical or something. I don’t think I could punch a wall though. I’ll only hurt myself. LOL! Well, just this morning I was able to express myself in words by telling the people closest to my heart what my point really is and explained how I felt after a conversation with someone in the family.

I try to be nice at all times but for some reason things can boil my temper in just an instant which I feel guilty about after a while. But, then I try to rediscover my side and realize that I have the reason to feel that way. Or at least, I thought I should. Oh well. Times like this will always be part of what life is made of. There are ups and downs all the time. Or else, it isn’t what you live here for!

Okay, I had enough of these scam e-mails. Just few days ago I made a post about one of the few that I got which doesn’t surprise me at all. Hey, it’s rather entertaining! Perhaps I should put a special category intended for them here in my blog just so people who are still unaware of it will in one way or another be able to learn that there is such a thing as “scam e-mails”.

Believe it or not, this time and age some people still do fall for this kind of MO. Well, guess what? Just today I got another one on my Yahoo! It seems as if it’s a favorite place for these scammers to spread the scam love. I guess some users are vulnerable to it as Yahoo has a lot of users. Anyway, let me post the e-mail here and tell me it sounds convincing! LOL! Well, excuse me whoever sent this. Besides a few of the grammatical errors that are common in scam e-mails, your e-mail address doesn’t look professional at all and I know from there and then that this is something fishy before I even started reading the entire message. So, you’re so busted!

A couple of years ago, we lived in NY. We were living very close to a train station. In fact, our street’s name is Railroad Ave. We hear the train a lot going to and from New York City, but it didn’t bother us anyway. We got used to it and slept well. Early in the morning on working days people rushing to catch up with their ride is expected. They are mostly the working class on their way to the big city. It’s the same in the afternoon and until early at night, the train station is packed with people heading on their way back home. Funny as it may seem because I notice that these working crowd are mostly consist of men in their suits. They are all dressed up and I always assume they work in offices of the city.

One time I came to think, I wondered how many suits those men have in their closets if they have to wear a fresh one everyday. I have no idea since the hubby isn’t one of them. I guess some of them wear the same suit every other day. Maybe. Well, I guess they all get them Made to Measure at MySuitNY.com. Nothing much going on at our end this week besides talking to my family back home everyday regarding a property that we are thinking of buying. It’s something that will help them a heck of a deal as they are tired of the usual means of living they have which is obviously not going to improve as they get older. I can’t be more thankful to my hubby for being so understanding and being so kind to extend his generosity to my family. Well, it should be a great help for them once they will find a farming area that they would like to work on and make a living.

Land is a good investment because its value is for sure going up higher year by year. For now, some of the properties that they have already taken a look into are not that ideal for one reason or another so we encourage them to keep looking. Of course, location matters. The more convenient and closer the area is to civilization the more money it is going to be — price-wise anyway. Sometimes it gives me a headache just thinking about it even though I am not the one who is doing the searching because as I understood it is rather uneasy to find the right size, the right price and the ideal location of the land where starting a new beginning in order to make money these days.

It’s time-consuming you know and not to mention the paperwork it needs and things to get prepared before the land can serve its purpose. We need to make sure the land is legally titled and checking on the previous owners needs a thorough assessment or whatever is the right term for that. LOL! Hey, nothing comes so easy when it’s all about making a serious decision. We’re not talking about buying a pair of shoes online and returning and exchanging them because it’s way too big or too small.

It definitely needs a smart thinking and requires the right move in order to achieve the goal. Oh well. That’s just the tip of an iceberg for us as of the moment. My mom just told me about a land that they really like and have the proper documents or title shown to them by the owner when they checked the place out today. I’ll just have to tell hubby about it to decide and see whether it is in our price range. Good luck to us!
