The Daily Matters

Nothing much going on at our end this week besides talking to my family back home everyday regarding a property that we are thinking of buying. It’s something that will help them a heck of a deal as they are tired of the usual means of living they have which is obviously not going to improve as they get older. I can’t be more thankful to my hubby for being so understanding and being so kind to extend his generosity to my family. Well, it should be a great help for them once they will find a farming area that they would like to work on and make a living.

Land is a good investment because its value is for sure going up higher year by year. For now, some of the properties that they have already taken a look into are not that ideal for one reason or another so we encourage them to keep looking. Of course, location matters. The more convenient and closer the area is to civilization the more money it is going to be — price-wise anyway. Sometimes it gives me a headache just thinking about it even though I am not the one who is doing the searching because as I understood it is rather uneasy to find the right size, the right price and the ideal location of the land where starting a new beginning in order to make money these days.

It’s time-consuming you know and not to mention the paperwork it needs and things to get prepared before the land can serve its purpose. We need to make sure the land is legally titled and checking on the previous owners needs a thorough assessment or whatever is the right term for that. LOL! Hey, nothing comes so easy when it’s all about making a serious decision. We’re not talking about buying a pair of shoes online and returning and exchanging them because it’s way too big or too small.

It definitely needs a smart thinking and requires the right move in order to achieve the goal. Oh well. That’s just the tip of an iceberg for us as of the moment. My mom just told me about a land that they really like and have the proper documents or title shown to them by the owner when they checked the place out today. I’ll just have to tell hubby about it to decide and see whether it is in our price range. Good luck to us!
