Tomorrow is the 10th Annual Alzheimer’s Association Golf Tournament which hubby and I volunteer for. In my first year, I was tasked to keep the score and actually made the scoreboard for the players. I did the same thing on my second year when I was barely pregnant. When our son was born, I didn’t do a lot as I had to watch him all day. I only joined the dinner at the end of the day and left our son with his cousins and a sitter for less than 2 hours which wasn’t pleasant at all as he cried the whole time.
I will be preparing the score board today for tomorrow but I will not be there all day and I don’t think I will be keeping the scores. I decided I prefer to watch our son as I don’t think he will like to be left with his cousins without me yet. We will be leaving tonight since it will be a 2-hour drive from our place to the golf course and we don’t want to be late tomorrow for the event. Anyway, I like trips like this and besides this tournament is intended for a cause. It’s going to be another good experience for me and hubby.

I noticed that some of the loyal EC members give acknowledgments to their frequent droppers. I guess it’s a good thing to do every first or last day of the month to make a list of the top 10 droppers. You will actually build a stable traffic for that matter when bloggers know their work pays off. Dropping 300 EC cards per blog is not easy, you know. Your fingers and arms will sore at the end of the day. How much more when you have multiple blogs?
I have two blogs with EC and I aim to drop 600 a day. It’s addicting but when you get the hang of it and when others do give you a credit for being one of the top 10, you will be motivated to keep the drops going. I actually got 50 credits as a reward from one of the blogs I dropped a lot for last month and some backlinks which is not a bad idea. I will have to do the same at the end of this month. So, if you do frequent here a lot, do look forward for a surprise from me.
Here are a couple of things I wanted to point out that perhaps a lot of bloggers do get to enjoy with Entrecard. Getting messages like these do make you feel appreciated of your hard work. After all, it’s about giving and receiving.
You have been sent 50 Entrecard credits!
These credits were sent from Badabings direct to your Entrecard account and have been applied to your balance. The transaction included the following note from the sender:
appreciation (Free Credits)
…………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
Entrecard.com, linking bloggers together.
You received a new message at Entrecard:
From: Happy Thoughts, Happy Tot
Hi,
Thanks for being one of my top droppers last August. I gave you some link love to show my appreciation.

I learned to blog even before I knew all about web hosts. I got so interested on it since it’s definitely giving you the control of your own site compared to having the free hosted domains. Anyway, before I decided to get my web host I made sure to find out all about the advantages and disadvantages as there are a lot of them out there. With the use of the Web Hosting Rating at webhostingrating.com, you will find out which web host is right for you. It’s a good resource to know the top web hosts out there that may be better than the rest.
This domain of mine used to be hosted for free by Blogger. I really wanted the flexibility and features of Wordpress so I decided getting a web host as it is the only way to get full control of my blog and its contents. With free hosting, you won’t have full control of your content unlike having your own web host which gives you all the advantages you will really enjoy. If you’re thinking about starting a blog or a website, take a look at Web Hosting Rating first before deciding on the web host you are getting.

It’s not very long ago that I have updated my WP to the latest version and now I see that a new one is released. When is this going to end? Well, it’s not that I’m complaining because the latest features and capabilities are helpful to most people. I understand that developers try their best to improve the platform.
I’m just curious as to how often they have to change or add more. Well, it’s definitely up to the users whether or not to update. As for me, I like it as long as it helps make life a lot easier when it comes to blogging. Have you updated to Worpress 2.6.1, yet?

My husband does a lot of work in his computer especially on analyzing his golf student’s swing. He basically has to deal with the video he takes from a golf session and then study it and gives his audio comment input regarding the whole thing. He then saves his work into a CD/DVD by burning it.

This scenario is not really that unusual since downloading and uploading files isn’t a new thing when it comes to computer. But, you have to consider the right multimedia software when you do a lot of work using one. An application with a burner or a
dvd ripper is one thing that you should look into like the one that Blaze Media Pro offers.
Did you know that it is a powerful multimedia application that has the capability to convert, rip, edit, record, burn, playback audio and video? It’s definitely an all-in-one application that does all the things you possibly want to work on. Those are just some of the numerous capabilities and features that are sure must-haves in your multimedia.
It is way powerful than what we normally see in the market yet user-friendly. It’s very easy to use whether for audio, video and data CD/DVD burning. It even supports VCD, SVCD and DVD burning. How cool is that? The usefulness of this multimedia application is too many to many to mention so you should find out more by checking out their website at www.blazemp.com now!

Have you switch to Vista yet? Recently, I bought a laptop for my family and it comes with Windows Vista. I have been very curious about it before I actually get a hold of it and finally tried its usability. I like it a lot since I am the kind of person that loves to explore on the latest and that includes the Operating System. My PC is still Windows XP and has been thinking about a good change anytime soon and Vita is just what I really needed.
Windows Vista is noticeably more attractive and neat compared to Windows XP. Its modern setup is a must-have. Did you know that it indexes the files you have for ease in finding them? Not only that, it keeps the hard drive organized which also has the capability to save your work so you don’t lose anything. If you want to do more work faster and easier, this is what you want to have.
With all the great features, it’s definitely way safer than Windows XP, more secure and yet simple. Make the right choice and you will never go wrong with it. If you want your business to be more efficient, Windows Vista provides compatibility with software application, peripherals, and services that no other Microsoft operating system can match. Be efficient and move to Windows Vista with confidence!
