I was startled last night when hubby woke me up from my deep sleep. He had to ask me to check his back for ticks. He said he found one on his neck and flushed it in the toilet. Thank goodness I didn’t see it at all. I wished I had though, but that was just disgusting. We don’t have pets at all. He thinks he might have got it at the golf course after playing with his friend yesterday morning and only last night that he noticed it while getting ready for bed. Ewww!
Some wild animal at the golf course must have left that disgusting creature to humans. Yuck! I can’t even think about it. Well enough of that — I have to check out some farmhouse sinks from this website that I stumbled. Someone I know might like it.

The hubby played a lot of golf in his lifetime and won tournaments years back. In fact he still has most of his trophies. I am proud of him since he has achieved victories in the game that he loves the most. He is not a bad golfer after all and not to mention a very good professional golf instructor. He sure hopes our son will have the same passion in golf as he does. It’s amazing that as young as he is right now, he knows just how to impress us when he plays with his plastic golf set. I hope it runs in the blood.

If you think only humans have the right to live in a house, apartment or a condo, you could be wrong. Even animals or pets have this right too. Whether you have a dog, birds or cats, they deserve to live in a place especially made for them so they can also enjoy being themselves. Think about a cat condo. How cool is that!?

I have no idea how far along the renovation is in our condo that we are planning to rent out next month. I don’t really ask the hubby about it because he will eventually tell me when it’s about done or open for renters. I’m sure the contractor have at least fixed the bathroom already and got the Grohe faucets installed. I heard the shower needed a replacement too so I would guess it’s also been done. I hope it will be ready soon so we can start making money with that place. It will take time though before we can get the money back that we spent for repair and other expenses to update that place.

I am trying to train Casey to sleep in the crib without me in his sight. He just cries though. I know it’s tough for him and it’s not an easy transition. I just don’t like the idea that he couldn’t sleep without me by his side or without touching my hair. I know I sound like I am a bad mom. I do try to be as affectionate as I can be all the time, but there are times when I want him to let go of some things as he is getting older and bigger.
Independence is very important in this country that is inculcated to kids as young as they are newly born. Oh well, I’ll make it work. For now, I’ll have to settle with what is best for the both of us. Anyway, I have yet to read more about this site for mortgage lenders. I might share this one to a friend who is thinking about buying a house. It should be a helpful site for them.

Father’s Day is just around the corner. I have not bought anything for the hubby just yet. Perhaps one of those weight benches will do. He’s been meaning to start working out to lose some weight. LOL! I really don’t know what he wants as I haven’t asked him what he could get a use of. We’re actually celebrating in advance on Tuesday by going to the nearby casino and stay in their hotel for a night. It should be a good treat for the three of us.
Our friends won a raffle ticket last year during a golf tournament for a cause that we volunteer in annually. The prize is a one night stay at one of the Mohegan Sun’s hotel rooms and dines at one of the restaurants in the casino. Our friends couldn’t make it and the prize will expire in July so they decided we can take advantage of it instead since we live closer to the casino. What a nice couple they are.

I have no idea what to give my man this Father’s day really. I just posted something previously on gift ideas but I can’t really decide what to get him as I don’t think he needs something else. I guess I’m going to end up getting one of those
popcorn machines for him. LOL! He loves popcorn and it might be something he would like to have that is different. He’s going to get a kick out of it if ever I really get him one.

One of the major concerns that most people are very much updated is to keep safe their social security numbers to prevent identity theft. Since I came to America and acquired my social security card, my hubby has been all the time reminding me to take care of it and make sure to memorize my number so it comes in handy when needed without having to look and show my card unless it’s necessary. It’s safer that way in order to avoid the chances of losing it and might end up at someone else who could be stealing identities.
It’s a good thing there is such a thing as Identity Theft Protection being provided my lifelock. It’s the leader in the industry and has been serving many individuals all over Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands. They definitely make you feel secure when it comes to protecting your identity. This surely is a must-have for everyone!

It’s amazing that after posting about my latest camera, it appears that most of the searches for the keywords that relate to it my post come up mostly on the first page of the Google search engine. Wow! Speaking of which, most of my traffic comes from that in the past days and I can see it in my blog stats in Wordpress that I have installed. I have other popular posts as well which also contribute to search engine optimization.
Whatever the secret is, I guess I just got it on the bat. I wish I have enough time blog hopping though to maximize this blog’s full potential. I guess I will keep on talking about the latest in technology and such so as to keep up with what is most popular these days on search engines that people more likely lookup in the internet. For now, I better search on silk bedding so I can take a good night sleep somehow.
