A relative of mine has been diagnosed of diabetes. She’s not fat or overweight like most people who are prone to this disease otherwise she would have been advised by the doctor to lose weight. Diabetes runs in the family that’s why I have to be careful as well. Who knows, somewhere down the road when I get older I will find myself in the situation which I will need to watch my diet and do regular exercise. While there’s ample of time, I will have to evaluate myself and keep things in moderation especially when it comes to food.

One of the simple things I can be proud of myself is not having acne. I mean, I had it and I get it from time to time but it’s nothing serious like some of the teens or adults do suffer. My sister has an acne problem and she really wants to get the best solution there is to help get rid of this facial problem. I have been promising her to help her get that solution for the longest time. It’s a shame that until now I haven’t bought here anything yet. LOL!

I am lucky I don’t have to work hard to lose weight. I just hope there won’t come a time that I will have to wish owning one of those fancy treadmills just to get in shape. My family on my mom’s side has weight issues which I hope I won’t acquire along the way. While on my father’s it isn’t really a problem at all. I’m just crossing my fingers on keeping my figure for as long as I can even though I don’t really watch my diet.

During my pregnancy, I didn’t really know what to expect. It was my first time and it meant I would learn new things for the first time as well and that included learning The Value of Cord Blood. When I had my first OB-GYN visit, I discovered that Cord Blood can be collected to bank or donated after the baby is born. As much as I can remember, it was discussed whether we would consider banking the cord blood when our baby will be born. It is known that umbilical cord Treating Diseases with Stem Cells can treat 70 types of diseases like leukemia, anemia, lymphoma, diabetes and cerebral palsy.
I was also amazed by its medical benefit upon learning that there are about 30,000 people in the US alone that are diagnosed with a disease which can be treated with the cord blood stem cells. Cryo-Cell is one of the world’s largest cord blood banks with over 150,000 clients. It’s good to know come 2015, there will be 10,000 cord blood transplants per year all over the world that are using publicly banked cord blood. We should be thankful that this study has been made. It’s a good thing to know that we have something in us that can actually treat certain diseases and that came with us as early as the day we were born which is on our cord blood. So, if you’re a soon-to-be parent or are expecting your newborn, do consider banking the cord blood. It will save lives — your family or your friend may need it.

When I had my first menstruation, I didn’t know how to react or feel about it. It was a mixed emotion of anxiety and excitement. It meant a new stage of my teenage life. As an initiation to womanhood, I changed in many ways. It was a gradual transformation of my childish ways into a young adult. Anyway, the monthly period started to annoy me like most women feel. Any female can wish it were never part of being one. The unfathomable PMS and other things that are caused by it is like a curse.
Did you know that your monthly agony is also your monthly miracle? That’s what most women don’t know. Sometime in our lives we will be in middle of a serious illness and that there could only be one cure to it and that’s no other than the one thing that may be found within one’s own body. Vital stem cells can now be harvested from a woman’s own menstrual blood. It’s a bit strange to think about it but if you’re familiar with the umbilical cord blood’s use it’s the same idea. Then, you will begin to understand Science.
Anyone in the family who may have osteoporosis, heart disease, stroke, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease can benefit to it. This research was conducted by C’elle. The service in which provides women the safe and easy method of collecting and preserving stem cells found in her menstrual fluid every month. Read and learn about it through C’elle Client Testimonial found online. If you wish to know more about C’elle and want to buy the kit online, just go to the C’elle website at www.celle.com!

The next time you have your monthly period, instead of feeling lousy think of it as a gift and be thankful that someday somehow it might be the only cure left for a strange disease that you could only wish you will never have.

My husband’s mom had Alzheimer’s. I never did get a chance to meet her though. I know how hard it can be for the people who have family members that suffer from this disease. I’ve learned a lot of things about it as what my husband shared to me. He had the opportunity to take care of his mom during her tough times until it was about time that she had to be confined in a nursing home.
I could imagine how difficult it was for my husband’s part as a son who was willing to look after her day and night. Until, he had to give it all up since he couldn’t do it no more when he had to have a surgical operation. I was saddened to know that during his visits to his mom, every time he signs the log book for visitors he sees his name that was written there in his previous visit. It only meant two things — it’s either the family of the other patients never signed in when they visited or they never came to visit at all.
That’s one reason why we are both volunteers for the Alzheimer’s Association fund raising activities such as the golf tournament we volunteer every year. The Alzheimer’s Memory Walk® is one thing we haven’t participated yet, but are open to it. It’s the nation’s largest event to raise awareness and funds fro Alzheimer’s care.
Like the golf tournament that is coming up sometime in September, this will help raise money to support and research more about the disease. Volunteers are all welcome from all walks of life and all ages to become champions when it comes to fighting against this disease. With more than 600 communities, let’s make each walk a great way to support this good cause. So, this coming fall, a 2-3 mile walk will be held on a weekend morning. Let’s be aware and get the chance to be involved!

In the game of golf, there are several things that a player needs to consider. It’s not only a physical game but it also involves thinking and cond
itioning of the mind according to my husband who is a professional golf instructor. People keep searching for all kinds of answers to their quests in perfecting the game of golf. Little do most of them know that besides the brain and body, calmness too has something to do with the sports performance of a person especially in golf.
According to my husband he might need to advice his students to work on calming the body as well besides golf practice. It will greatly help their game. In fact, there are products out there that professional sports players patronize and can attest to the effectiveness of some calming gadget or supplement that help them perform well. It would be interesting to know that AbsoluteCalm can do this type of need when it comes to calming the body and to relax nerves before or during the activity that a person is involve with.
This in effect makes an individual feel refreshed and can focus. This product is highly recommended to those who are into sports and other recreation. While some people take supplements that energize and keep them going on a certain activity, AbsoluteCalm is also a must-have for similar reason — not only are you relaxed, your concentration or focus on your favorite sports will be achieved.

The hubby loses track of his glasses lots of times. Sometimes I have to help him find it. He does buy cheap reading glasses just to get by. He reads the paper and needs it everyday so he is usually content about it.
Perhaps I should get him a new pair that is well-designed and stylish. I just learned that zennioptical.com offers nice glasses as they have a huge selection of frames, with single vision lens, sunsensor (potochromic)lens, tinted suglasses lens, bifocal lens and progressive lens. It’s the best place to buy prescription glasses online, so might as well take advantage of their cool products.
