This is my son’s rollercoaster. He likes to tip it over and play with it in a different position which is typical of him. He does it with almost everything. He even turns his toy carts or bicycle so he can turn the wheels instead of the steering wheel. Silly, sin’t he?

I went out for a stroll one fine day and the sky was beautiful and I just have to take pictures of the clouds. Aren’t they lovely? It was pretty interesting to take pictures of almost anything just to make use of my new camera. It’s too bad I don’t have all days to just go out and shoot. I would definitely like to explore more in photography.
Happy Hunting!

This butterfly is a friendly creature. She stayed in my hubby’s pro shop in the golf range one day. I was actually out at the bushes trying my new macro lens. Hubby asked his helper to bring me the butterfly so I could take a picture of it. She was just steady the whole time on his finger and didn’t fly at all. The hand looks like a great
support for this little creature so I could take a good picture. This is my first butterfly close up shot, by the way. Mind you, the camera was hand held and the few shots were actually a bit blurry. That’s just as good as I could get since I’m still learning with the lens.

It’s been a while since the last time I actually participated in PhotoHunt. Now that I get the chance to take pictures more seriously, I could post photos that are appropriate to the themes which in one way or another inspire me to hone my photography skills.
This lamp says it all. It’s ‘bright’. It was taken in Foxwoods Casino and Resort Grand Pequot Tower. We didn’t gamble at all. It was only a one night stay for free just so you know. Happy Hunting!

I used to join memes and I really missed them. I should start joining them again. I especially want to join the memes in which I can contribute photography in it. Hehehe. I miss those days when I hunt for pictures and get visits from other participants. Anyway, I will be starting again pretty soon. It should be fun. I like the ones with themes and the question and answer type of memes. Now that I have a good set of photos to share, might as well start the craze once more. So, guys watch out for it!

This week’s theme is
Curvy. This photo was taken inside “The Majestic Theater” in Broadway, NY. My husband and I watched The Phantom of the Opera on our first anniversary. Before the play started I took some shots of the interior and I was really amazed how good it came out. The curvy artistic designs on the ceiling with the chandeliers look spectacular.

This week’s theme is original. It gave me a hard time looking for a more appropriate photo that’s why I ended up with this one. I know I posted this before for something else or for a different theme. This big trowel is unique since it’s the first one that I have seen this big, thus, original. Although it’s derived from something that has already been created, the thought of making it way bigger than normal is just one of a kind.

This week’s theme is “Plastic“.
Our thriving son Casey James likes his walker, but he couldn’t stand up all by himself just yet. I have to watch him whenever he wants his walker or he could fall. He can crawl really good though. He is just so anxious to be able to push it and take steps little by little.

This week’s theme is
Happy.

This photo was taken 2 years ago. We had our 2nd anniversary last Monday. My wedding day must be the happiest day of my life. I think for most people anyway. How about you? Here’s a poem I’d love to share. I hope you like it.
All My Happiness Goes Out to You
All my happiness goes out to you:
Pride and pleasure, joy, sweet tears, and love!
Reason, hope, and faith together move
In harmony to bless all that you do.
Let this beginning be the golden dawn
At which all dew-drenched nature sings its glory!
Nor should the darkness shrouding every story
Dim the blue-eyed beauty of this morn.
More of life will come than you can hold:
A flood no mortal witness can withstand.
Rest, then, within a quiet, gentle hand,
Knowing where love is as you grow old.
